Dr Ghazi Osman - Acting Chairman

Dr Ghazi Osman has over 25 years of experience in executive business management, with a specialisation in project management and delivery. He worked for several firms before joining Lamprell’s majority shareholder, Algihaz Group, where he has held various positions over 15 years, including that of VP of Technical Affairs and Deputy CEO.

Dr Osman represents Algihaz Holding as a Board member for several of its companies in Saudi Arabia and abroad, including Lamprell, for whom he is Acting Chairman.

Dr Osman holds a PhD in project management from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the Herriot Watt University in Edinburgh, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Khartoum.

Christoph Bausch has decades of financial and operational management experience, which he has gained while working predominantly in the international energy sector.

Christoph worked as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Weatherford and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Archer Limited, an oilfield services company publicly traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Before joining Archer, Mr Bausch served as a Global Finance Director of Transocean following a 20-year career with Schlumberger, where he held senior financial positions in global and regional operations.

As well as being an Independent Director on the Board of Lamprell, Mr Bausch is the Founder and Managing Director of Alethea Consulting Partners, a boutique Consulting firm providing strategic and financial solutions for energy companies.

Mr. Bausch holds a Finance degree from the University of Mannheim, Germany.

Kevin Isles is a highly skilled energy industry professional with a long history in the sector, particularly with Lamprell.

He started his career with McDermott in 1985, with whom he worked for 12 years, holding various positions in offshore construction, hook-up, and commissioning. Mr Isles joined Lamprell in 1997 and filled various Executive Management roles, including that of Senior Executive Vice President. Kevin was instrumental in developing Lamprell’s Hamriyah facility and creating the new build jack-up rig business for the company before leaving in 2016. In 2016, Mr Isles joined Joulon, an asset management company, as President before retiring in 2019.

Mr Isles returned to Lamprell in 2022 as an advisor to the new shareholders before joining the Board as an Independent Director in 2023.

Mr Ahmed Alaredhi brings over 26 years of experience in project engineering, project management and engineering design, focusing on delivering complex projects in local and international markets.

His career includes senior leadership roles across capital programme execution for Saudi Aramco, including both in-Kingdom and out-of-Kingdom assignments, as well as joint venture and governmental projects. He led Phase II of the Saudi Aramco joint venture Petro Rabigh and held the position of CEO at the Makkah Region Development Authority. Mr Alaredhi also served as a Board Member of the Pilgrim Experience Program between 2021 and 2023 and has received multiple project awards from international institutions.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Mr Philippe Barril brings over 30 years of experience in the offshore energy industry, with a strong background in engineering, operations and executive leadership across international markets.

His career began with Bouygues Offshore, after which he held a number of senior leadership roles at Technip, including that of President and Chief Operating Officer. He later joined SBM Offshore, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Management Board. Most recently, he was CEO of Heerema Marine Contractors until October 2024.

Mr Barril has held several non-executive and advisory roles, including Director positions at DeepOcean and McDermott Inc. He currently serves as a Board Member at IQIP and as Executive Advisor to MODEC.

He holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
