UAE facilities
Lamprell operates three facilities in the United Arab Emirates, supporting a range of fabrication services as well as training activities.
Hamriyah facilities
Lamprell’s Hamriyah facility in the UAE is one of the largest in the region, spanning approximately 800,000m² with direct access to 1.25 kilometres of quayside. It plays a critical role in supporting our offshore wind and oil & gas projects, with a strong focus on fabrication, assembly and load-out activities.
The facility includes extensive open construction areas, covered fabrication shops equipped with overhead cranes, state-of-the-art blasting and painting workshops, and dedicated pipe fabrication capabilities for both carbon and stainless steel. It is also home to our world-class serial production line, which can produce up to 150 transition pieces per year, supporting the growing offshore wind sector.
Key features include a bespoke 2,000-tonne lifting frame, a semi-automated panel line with a 40-tonne daily throughput, and an API-certified mechanical workshop specialising in the overhaul and repair of jack-up rig equipment.
Across our extended yards in Hamriyah, we provide additional fabrication, assembly, and storage areas to support large-scale project delivery.

Jebel Ali facility
Lamprell’s Jebel Ali Free Zone facility spans approximately 161,000m² and was purpose-built to support a wide range of offshore and onshore energy projects. The yard includes over 16,000m² of covered workspace equipped with internal overhead cranes, complemented by extensive open fabrication areas supported by gantry, tower and crawler cranes.
Designed for optimal production flow, the facility is ideally suited for piping fabrication, structural pre-fabrication, modular assembly, and offshore structure construction. It is located just 250 metres from DP World’s quayside, with a dedicated load-out corridor and access to 11 metres of water depth, enabling seamless transport of large structures.
The facility is capable of delivering up to 15,000 tonnes of steel fabrication per annum and has full non-destructive testing (NDT) capabilities onsite. It can handle a wide range of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, low alloy steel, duplex and super duplex, aluminium, and copper nickel.
Today, the Jebel Ali facility provides strategic flexibility and additional capacity to support project delivery as opportunities arise, ensuring Lamprell can quickly scale operations to meet client needs.

Dubai Investment Park facility
Lamprell’s Dubai Investment Park (DIP) facility spans approximately 30,000m² and supports a range of assessment, training, and safety services. It is home to the Lamprell Assessment and Training Centre (LATC), which delivers best-practice trade, HSES training, assessment, and certification activities. The LATC operates 24/7 and includes four classrooms, a first-class welding school, and training areas for confined space rescue and lifting/rigging.
The facility also hosts Sunbelt Safety Services, our specialist division offering safety equipment services, hydrostatic testing, and instrumentation workshops. With covered fabrication areas, pipe shops, and space to support up to 650 personnel, DIP plays an important role in developing skilled resources and supporting operational readiness.
